Use this guide to update an existing asset's settings in the Content Library.
-
In the left-hand navigation menu, select Content to expand it, then select Content to open the Content Library.
-
Navigate to the folder containing the asset.
-
Select the asset. This opens its Edit panel.
-
Update any of the following as needed: Name, Key, Key Priority, Media Type, Status, Expected Delivery, Asset Priority, and (under Design Parameters) Description, End Behaviour, and the asset's technical specs — Width, Height, Video Codec, Audio, Transparency, Frame Rate, and Duration.
-
Select Save, which appears at the bottom of the panel once you've changed a field.
Tips:
-
Use the ⋯ menu at the top of the panel to Flag the asset, Delete it, Undo Changes, or Move it to a different folder.
-
Leave a technical spec (Width, Height, and so on) blank to inherit it from the asset's folder — set a value here only to override the folder's default for this asset.
-
Scroll down to the Files section to manage the asset's uploaded files. See Uploading a New File.
