Setting the Template's Timeline

This guide explains how to set the Play scene and Clear scene timings for a Template.

1. Open the Template, either from its Edit panel on the Cue Templates list, or by opening the Template and clicking Open Template Editor.

2. In the Edit Scenes panel, expand Play scene.

3. Set the Length field to the duration (in milliseconds) the Play scene should run for.

4. (Optional) Set a Visible length if it should differ from the Length.

5. Set the End behaviour for what happens once the Play scene finishes (e.g. Continue).

6. Expand Clear scene and set its Length and Visible length.

7. Press “Save”.

Within the Template Editor, you can also drag the playhead along the timeline ruler above the object tracks to move to a specific point in time — this is the time new keyframes will be added at. See Adding Keyframes to an Object.
