Duplicating a Show

Duplicating a show copies its Surfaces, Cue Types, Templates, and Cues into either a new show or an existing one.

  1. Open the show you want to duplicate from, then select Duplicate from the ••• menu. This opens the Duplicate panel.

  2. Choose a destination:

    • Add Existing Show — search for and select the show to duplicate into.

    • Add New Show — enter a Code and Name, then select + to add it as the destination. Typing the values alone doesn't register them — + must be selected.

  3. For each category you want to duplicate, select all to include every item, or tick individual items from its list:

    • Surfaces

    • Cue Types

    • Templates

    • Cues

  4. Optional: enable override on a category to update matching items already in the destination show, instead of adding new copies alongside them.

  5. Select Duplicate to complete the process. This button only appears once at least one item (or all) has been selected in any category.

Tips:

  • Use show selected on a category to filter its list down to only the items you've already selected — useful once you've made several selections in a long list.

  • You can select items across more than one category (Surfaces, Cue Types, Templates, Cues) in the same duplication.

  • You can add more than one destination — both an existing show and one or more new shows — before selecting Duplicate.
