Create a new Show by navigating to the Shows tab from the left-hand navigation menu.

Select the Show button from the top right of the existing Show list, and the Create show slide-out will appear.

Enter the relevant information for the show.

Name: The name is the full name of the event, including all needed information. This can include event name, sport, year, etc.

Code: The shorthand code for the event. This will be the first code that is listed in the Controller when selecting the show.

API Key: Optionally assign an API key for on-site applications to authenticate against this show. Typically created ahead of time from the API Keys page rather than created inline here.

Scripts: Add any pre-created scripts to the show.

Select Application Versions: Optionally assign the Orchestrator, Controller, Renderer, and Content Manager application versions this show uses.

Decide whether to make the show active via the additional options in the top-right corner, and select Make Active if so.

Press Save at the bottom of the slide-out.

Tips:

It's best practice to keep the code short and concise with key information, i.e. year and a short form of the show name.

Only Name and Code are required to create the show initially.

Making the show active will allow it to appear in the Controller as a show that can be selected.

Name, Code, API Key, Scripts, Select Application Versions, and whether the show is active can all be updated after the show is created.
