Show Roles

Show Roles are a separate permissions system from account-level Roles. Instead of building a role and attaching it to a user, a Show Role is a fixed set of permissions attached directly to a show, and you attach a user to one of those roles for that specific show. The same user can hold a different Show Role on every show they work on.

Show Roles and account-level Roles work independently of each other. A user's account-level Role controls what they can do across the account; their Show Role controls what they can do on one specific show.

Where Show Roles are managed

Show Roles are managed from within a show, not from the Admin panel. Once a show is selected, open Show Roles in the show's own navigation to see the roles available on that show.

Available Show Roles

Every show has the same 11 built-in Show Roles available. They can't be created, renamed, or have their permissions edited — a show can only attach users to the roles below.

Attaching a user to a Show Role

Each role on the Show Roles screen has its own search field. Search for a user by name and select them from the results to attach that Show Role to them for the current show.
