The OSC Config tab can also be accessed by pressing F5 on a connected keyboard.
Active Cue List
The Active Cue List section is located at the top of the User Interface and will horizontally list all the Surfaces for a Show. Cues that are currently loaded, playing, or being cleared will appear vertically beneath each relevant surface.
To the right-hand side of the Active Cue List are manual controls for selecting a cue to play, clear, or transition. The buttons listed are “Play” and “Clear”, when more than one cue is selected the “Play” button will change to show “TX” for Transition
Cue Selection
The Cue Selection section is located in the centre left of the User Interface and contains all of the functionality to locate a cue for playback.
Cue selection is managed by first selecting the desired Cue Type. Once a Cue Type is selected, a search bar will appear in the centre of the Controller showing up to five Cues of that type for playback. The user can then search in more detail and select a cue for playback.
Hotkeys, Sequences, Cue Variables, Info
This section is located on the centre right side of the user interface and has four different Tabs that have varying use cases.
The Hotkeys tab will include interactable hotkeys that are pre-defined in the Orchestrator Config. These can include standalone Cues, Multi’s or Sequences. This allows an operator to select and play a certain cue at any time with a single press. These hotkeys must be setup via staff from the PV4 Team prior to event start
The Sequences tab will list any active Sequences and the controls for Sequences. When a Sequence is manually triggered this area will populate with Sequence information including, Sequence Name, Currently playing Cue, timing for current cue and and entire sequence, and controls to Skip and go-to a specific cue. Information on Advanced control of a Sequence will be in the Advanced Operating Module
The Cue Variables tab will become active when a Cue that is attempting to be played has an “Operator Variable” an Operator Variable is a field that is left for the Operator to enter before a cue is played. For example if the cue in question is a Headshot for an Athlete, the Operator Variable field may be setup to ask for a Jersey Number from the operator. This allows a cue to be used in many different situations, giving the operator and show caller more freedom.
The Info tab will include (depending on Show) information regarding aspects of live data integration.
