API Keys is where you create and manage the full list of API keys issued to shows on your instance. A key can be assigned to one show or shared across several, and you manage each key's lifecycle from here for as long as it's in use.
Viewing your API keys
The API Keys list shows every key on your instance, along with its description, expiration date, who created it, and when.
Creating a key
Select Add Key and fill in a Name, Expiration Date, and Description.
A key isn't assigned to a show from this screen. Assignment happens from the show's own API Key field in its Create or Edit panel — see Shows.
Managing an existing key
Select a key from the list to open its detail panel. From here you can:
|
Field / action |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Api Key |
The key's value. |
|
Name |
The key's display name. |
|
Expiration Date |
The date the key stops working. Editing this is how you extend or shorten a key's active life without deleting it — set it to a past date to disable the key immediately. |
|
Description |
A short description of the key. |
|
Shows using this API Key |
A read-only list of the shows this key is currently assigned to. |
The panel's ••• menu also has a Delete option, which permanently removes the key.
